I hope my fellow Americans had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
With that behind us, it’s time to get ready for Christmas! And to help with that, starting now, for the next 24 hours, a signed copy of Chasing Betty is now half off!
I recently got new headshots taken by the wonderful, talented Marcy Royce. The problem is, I can’t pick one!
Can you help?
This will be in the back of all my future novels, as well as on my website and certain social media pages. Please help me by responding with your favorite.
Before the game in Denver, we had some time to tour the city. First of all, it’s very walkable, and has a lot of great things to see and do. Colorado is one of the best states for craft beer, and I had one of the best Marzens on draft I’ve ever tasted. And that brewery had a special friend we got to meet!
One of the big surprises was the National Ballpark Museum, right down the street from Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies. It is one of the largest private collections of baseball stadium memorabilia in the world. It has items from all turn of the twentieth century ballparks, including Forbes Field (Pittsburgh), Comiskey Park (Chicago) and Crosley Field (Cincinnati)..
The city also had some amazing murals of a variety of subjects.
The biggest surprise to Michelle and me was the Denver Botanical Gardens. Michelle is more of a garden person than me, so she was thrilled, but I was so enamored by the natural beauty of the place, as well as its unique layout.
This trip, in its entirety, is one I will remember for the rest of my life.
